promises, promises...

I didn't know I'd never keep

i still love the show!!! and i'd love to keep recapping it, but...

the major excuse - my commute used to be about an hour a week, but it's closer to ten now. it used to take me about 4 hours to finish a recap.
do the math...
that's the main place where i've lost time.
I just don't have the extra time to do it right, so I haven't done it at all.
the episodes are now eating up my TIVO, and i've gotta start deleting.
i still don't want to give up on this place, and there's always itunes before the DVDs come out - so if I find any extra time, i will update.

if you want me to let you know when i've put something new up here, email me at:
4eight15sixteen23forty2@gmail.com

and i'll send out an email when (if, at this point) i get back to recapping.

sorry!

thanks for reading...

second verse, same as the first...

I'm still working on catching up on the recaps, and just getting further and further behind. I just don't have the free time I used to - but I will eventually get them up here!
In the meantime, I kicked this blog off with some lyrics, so I figured I'd throw some more up here after last night's episode, Tricia Tanaka is Dead.
It was a great match to Hurley's story, and I loved how they incorporated the melody into the orchestral piece at the end of the show. Really cool. Shambala is the name of a hidden mystical tibetan city, a place of peace, tranquility and happiness.
Downtown?

Shambala - Three Dog Night
(D.Moore)

Wash away my troubles, wash away my pain
With the rain in Shambala
Wash away my sorrow, wash away my shame
With the rain in Shambala

[Chorus:]
Ah, ooh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

Everyone is helpful, everyone is kind
On the road to Shambala
Everyone is lucky, everyone is so kind
On the road to Shambala

[Chorus]

How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala

I can tell my sister by the flowers in her eyes
On the road to Shambala
I can tell my brother by the flowers in her eyes
On the road to Shambala

[Chorus]

How does your light shine, in the halls of Shambala
